Automatic recording after a long pause

Hello, my wife runs with a Forerunner 45. She complains that when she pauses her watch for too long (about 15 minutes) it automatically records the activity and saves it.

I have a Forerunner 255 and it doesn't seem to have this problem.

I couldn't find anything in the settings.

Higher-end watches like FR255 have an activity setting called Power Save Timeout, which controls how long the watch will wait before ending an activity due to inactivity. The normal (default) setting is 5 minutes and the extended setting is 25 minutes.

Lower-end watches like FR45 and FR55 don't have this setting, and I'm guessing they will just end an activity if it's paused (or not started) for more than 5 minutes.

I think there should be a countdown which is displayed when this is about to happen, and you should be able to cancel it by pressing a button. (I realize that doesn't help if you don't notice the countdown.)
