Activity map not showing

When I set my GPS on my forerunner 55 Garmin, it records the activity but not the map. It used to show it but now it doesn't come up. Any idea why it doesn't?

    Could you confirm that you're looking for the map on the Connect IQ App? or is it somewhere like Strava?

    When starting your activity, do you wait for a GPS lock?(the progress bar fills up)
