Synced run from Forerunner 55 not showing up in All Activities

Just bought a new Forerunner 55 after having had a 405 for a few years. The first couple of runs synced perfectly but the las two haven't. Weirdly it HAS updated my steps but there is no sign of my run on "all activities". I've manually uploaded but it's very frustrating as lots of info missing and it's a brand new watch. Help please!

Hm, no such model in Garmin's offer, so I can't check the specs. Didn't you rather mean Forerunner 55?

If the syncing works (steps come over), and syncing with Garmin Express, or manual uploading of the activity fit file works without an error, then the following article should help: Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App | Garmin Customer Support

If not, then there are some more tips in the Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing

Thank you. It IS a Forerunner 55 - really sorry! I normally download it on to my Mac using Garmin Express. It is here where the runs are not showing. Any other thoughts? Thanks again!

I have. I removed watch and reinstalled it. I uninstalled Garmin Express then reinstalled it. I turned watch off and on again. Still showing same info as before but not showing the runs. Really frustrating as I've only had the watch a week!

Do you see those activities on the watch, in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder when connected to a computer? If you do, can you try to upload those to Garmin Connect Web? How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

That would give you some indication whether or not the activities were correctly recorded on your watch and are not corrupted.

Hi Seilogramp - thanks for answering. No I don't see the activities in that folder. The folder is empty....?

I have a Garmin epix (Gen 2). With the watch connected to my Windows computer, I can see all the activities I've recorded since the last time I cleared history, located here: "This PC\EPIX\Internal Storage\GARMIN\Activity"

Have you deleted them? Reset your watch? Do you see these activities on the watch itself (in settings, History, Activities)? Did you start the running activity correctly? Select Run > press Start button to begin and see the big green arrow indicating the run activity is being recorded.

Then when finished press Stop > Save

If you could provide screenshots that might help us to see what is going on.

Thanks again. Having turned my watch off and on again I now have no history! I've had Garmin watches for the last 10 years so know how to start them properly but this watch seems faulty. I've just tried to record a new activity and the watch has got stuck on the advice page " This base run improves your endurance and builds a foundation for.." I can't get rid of the message unless I turn the watch off but then I get it again!

I've moved your thread to the Forerunner 55 forum, as this topic has little or no relation to the Garmin Connect app. Also fixed the subject to reflect your device model.

I suggest you contact Garmin Support for your location. I've also pinged Garmin-Sierra

ok thanks. I have just recorded a new activity and synced it and it worked! So might just have been a glitch. Thanks for your help anyway
