Often my stress is high after a hard run, which is to be expected, I don't need my watch to remind me of this. And I don't want to do a "breathing exercise" (which in my experience does nothing) so the reminder is pointless (except stressing me out further, ironically). The reminder is irritating to deal with as I have to unlock my watch to turn it off, and then relock it again, I'd rather they just didn't come up in the first place.
The Garmin website says that if you go into Sounds and Alerts there *may* be an option to turn them off depending on the watch, but it appears this isn't present for the 55, either in the mobile app or on the website. If the ability to turn these reminders off exists for other watches in the Forerunner range, why not this one?
