I have backlight set to OFF when not during activity. But since the firmware update, every time I push "down" button to reveal widgets, the backlight would come on for a fraction of a second then turn off. I tried to trouble shot and find out that this problem only happens when the the HR widget is visible. Meaning if I move HR widget further down in the list, the back light does not flash until HR widget is shown on the watch's display. The problem also only happens if I am wearing the watch and the HR sensor is active. If hold the watch and the HR sensor is off, then there is no such a bug.
I believe this bug also exists with other Garmin watches based on other posts in the forum.
