Forerunner updated 24 hours ago to V6.04.
Since update when the device is displaying the configured 'watch face', the backlight will not stay on even though backlight setting is set to 'No Timeout'.
The backlight times out after 8 seconds and displays only current time in 24hr format.
Now have to use 'gesture' function to reopen and display the configured 'watch face', very frustrating !!!
This was a bug identified some 6 years ago with the Forerunner 935 and was quickly resolved with a software update.

Can this be resolved. It is an extremely frustrating issue.
