Garmin Forerunner 55 keeps crashing & deleting activities

My Garmin Forerunner 55 keeps crashing, loses the activity data, so I miss my daily steps target.

The Activity directory on watch is empty, no data at all or history

It also loses the downloaded watch face

Why ?
