Hey fam! So I'm training for my first half marathon and on Saturday I was scheduled to run 9 miles. I typically am around a 10 Minute / Mile Pace on my long runs. My first two miles were around that, and my third mile jumped to 8:43, then my fourth to 6:23, then 5th to 4:54 and 6th to 5:25. Finally it corrected the next couple of miles and jumped back to my normal pace of 10.
Obviously this is some sort of error but haven't been able to find much of how to fix it online. This was super disappointing as this was my longest run so far and I had to guess how many miles I actually ran.
About a week before this I had an issue with my distance saying 0.00 the whole time I was running and even though it had mapped the run it said my distance was 0.
I know the Forerunner is a lower end watch on Garmin's end but it was still expensive and I never thought I would have this issue when choosing to switch over to Garmin! Any ideas on how I can fix this or has anyone had this issue before?
Sorry if this is long or rambling - i'm just frustrated my longest run was messed up and I don't want to have the same issue on my race day! Thanks for any help!
