How do a make the suggestions go away when I hit the start button on a run

Hello, I'm new to having a Garmin and I've got a couple of questions.

Everytime that I hit the start button on a run, a get a screen offering Today's suggestions, which I find really annoying.  Is there a way to make that stop popping up.
