How can i change the auto lock screen time ?

Are you talking about the screen on your Forerunner 55 or you Android device?

Hi Scillonian,

Yes the screen of my Forerunner 55. 

It locks within a few seconds, it would be handy if it could be lengthen the duration for a couple of seconds. It feels more relaxed if i experience some more time to adjust settings. For example 15-30 seconds gives me more time. I need to unlock a lot of times unnecessarily. ;)

I had a quick look at the manual for the Forerunner 55 and did net see anything about screen locking.

Are you meaning the backlight for the display? The backlight will turn off automaticity if a button is not pressed within a defined time period.

First of all, thanks for the effort.

I mean the lock that appears after not using it , which appears in a bit too short time.

It depends on the user ofcourse if they like it or not.

No the backlight is fine , which is adjustable in duration after it disappears. 

Screenlock is not adjustable in time i guess, well it is what it is. It is not a very big hassle. I was just curious. tyvm.

From the manual it appears the option is only enabled or disabled with no option to adjust the timeout.

I have the same issue with my fenix 7. The screen/keys lock after just 10 seconds. That is quite annoying. One should be able to freely define the key/screen locking time, or at least have 3 or 4 predefined key/screen lock options, such as 10, 20, 30, 40 secs.
