I'm confused by the replies here that say GPS doesn't work when the watch is submerged. The Garmin Instinct has an open water mode and works perfectly well for tracking my swims via GPS. I get that the 55 doesn't have that mode, but I'm failing to understand why people are arguing that GPS signal would be the problem...
