Lap pace data field: 1 second precision

Hi.

The "lap pace" data field seems to show pace in 5 seconds increments. So it never reads 3:56 or 4:02 but you only see 3:55, 4:00, 4:05 and so on.

I'm ok with 5 seconds precision for instant pace but expected 1 second for lap pace.

Am I doing something wrong or this is a limitation of the device?

Limitation carried over from the 45. Very frustrating, but certainly makes marathons exciting!

Bought a 55 over the weekend and took it out today, it appears to give 1 second precision on lap pace (perhaps a few software updates since your post?)

I agree. They seem to have updated the software even since I purchased mine.
