Garmin Forerunner 55 not recording treadmill workout distance.

ive been running on a treadmill on my forerunner 55, I am on the treadmill activity, but my watch cant seem to record distance. I would run 5km on the treadmill, and watch will only show .05km. Any fix to this issue? Thanks

Accelerometer sensor is used for this triggered by your arm swing. Does your FR55 count steps?

Distance, speed and steps use the accelerometer. If it counts steps then possible its a software bug that needs an update from Garmin.
