Forerunner 265 Display control wrong function

Hello all,

I own both a Forerunner 265 and an Epix Pro Gen 2, and I've added the "Display" toggle to the controls menu on both devices.

I've noticed a difference in behavior when the display is turned off and a phone notification comes in:

  • On the Epix Pro Gen 2, the watch only vibrates — the screen does not wake up.
  • On the Forerunner 265, the screen continue to light up, bypassing the off setting in the display

Has anyone experienced this or know why the two devices behave differently? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
