Schwinn IC4/8 sensor connection issue NOT resolved in 27.09

Disappointingly this issue is not fixed for me. I just updated to 27.09 after the assurance that the issue had been resolved in this thread: RE: Is garmin doing something about is connectivity issue with shwinn ic4

I can confirm that for me, the issue is still there. No change in behaviour. For a description of the issue refer to the old thread, as from what I can see from my testing it is exactly as it was.

If anyone else can feed back their experience that'd be great.

Mine will now see the bike, but fail to connect. However then the bike displays the heart rate from the watch even though the bike is unable to transmit ride data back to the watch.

Same as me. But this is how it was working before the update, the IC4 can receive the heart rate from the watch, but won't transmit the bike's sensor data back. So for me nothing has changed.

After the 27.09 update my 265 still doesn’t connect to the IC4. When trying to connect - the watch finds IC4 - shows “Sensors Found IC Bike - Select to Add” - when I select it - it spins a blue circle for a minute then says “Failed to connect Trainer to - IC Bike”

The IC4 bike will display my HR from the watch - but that worked before.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like this glitch was addressed. Cmon Garmin - do better!

I just updated and no change on my end. The watch identifies the IC4 but when I try to connect it fails. The IC4 still shows the HR from the watch.

Come on Garmin - Do better
