Daily step automatic goal stuck

Hi, I've had the problem for about 2 years now, I already posted on this forum but never got an answer

My autosteps goal is stuck on an absurdly low number and just doesn't move anymore (it has been the same for 2 years) 

I've tried the famous changing to manual goal / syn / turning on /off / changing back to automatic goal & re sync 

NOTHING changes 

What can be done here?

It is driving me crazy

    Hi.  I thought I had the same issue occur a few months ago.  My daily step goal did not seem to be changing at all.  I went in to the watch settings and did what you described above. I turned the feature off then on again  I also turned my watch off, waited 5mins or so, then turned the watch back on.

    I do not know it i was the steps above or something else, but the automatic step goal seemed to fix itself.  One idea, which I did not try, is manually putting in a step goal.  Then after a day or two of using the watch with a manual goal, set it back to automatic.  Maybe that will unstick it.  Wish I had better news.  Good luck.

    It happens to me now on my 970 as well while up until few weeks ago on my old 265 it was all fine. 

    I guess therefore it is account related rather than specific device.

    Interesting.  I did go back into my GC account to double check everything.  And I made sure I was running the most recent of the GC app too.  Everything seems to be working as it should now.
