Vivoactive 3 replacement - right arm

Looking to replace my nearly 8 year old Vivoactive 3. A key feature of this, and any replacement, is that it needs to be configurable to wear on the right wrist. The Vivoactive 6 is not suitable as it doesn't have an alitmeter.

Can any of the Forerunners do this? Or indeed any of the remainder of Garmin's range?

  • When you first get the watch, it asks you which wrist you wear it on. And you can edit it later. But I don't think that the screen flips as with some other manufacturers. I think they may be planning on introducing this, but only on some newer models.

  • Thank you.

My Vivoactive 3 asked during set up which wrist- I chose right. Then which side I wanted the button, chose left and the face flipped. Exactly what I wanted.

I realise that with multi-button models the choice of where the buttons are to be is not realistic, but if the watch is on the right wrist I would want the face the correct way up.
