Using my Garmin Forerunner 265 I started a six week strength training plan.
The plan it gave me is a push/pull/Legs using a full gym, for strength.
The first week it had me go through some lifts and it created benchmarks and estimated 1-Rep Max (1RM) amounts for five different lifts.
- Barbell Bench Press
- Overhead Barbell Press
- Barbell Back Squat
- Barbell Deadlift
- Dumbbell Row
The calculated 1RM amounts are all with tenths of a pound....eg. Press 142.3, Row 62.7, etc. On the second week it adapted and created a structured workout. This first "Push" workout today has a bunch of warmups, sets and reps. The workout uses tenths of a pound and odd weights. e.g. 3x10 dumbbell rows 16.4 lbs. or Back Squats at 76.7 lbs?
That seems broken. The amounts should all be whole number increments of five pounds. Have they instructed us somewhere to "round up" or "round down" or is this simply overlooked and broken?
