Impact of NOT tracking walks on training readiness and recovery?

Hi All,

I've had my Forerunner 265 for a couple of weeks now, but my training readiness never seems to get higher than moderate. As a total newbie I have been tracking all my activities diligently, including my daily dog walks. These walks are usually around 2-3km and are at a moderate pace, the training affect is always shown as "recovery". Could tracking these walks each day be preventing me from seeing a higher training readiness? If I was to let IQ Move track these walks automatically, instead of recording them as an activity, would this change the impact to my training readiness?
