energy saving mode

Hi,

I had to "upgrade" from my forerunner 235 to the 265 after nearly 7 years (battery lastet only some hours in the end).

I looked in the settings, but I didn't find a solution / option / setting for my issue.

If it is an issue.

When the battery drops under 19% the watch asks my if I want to switch to the battery saving mode.

yes / no

This message stays. For a while.

Is there a way to adjust the % when this message comes up?

On my 235 the indicator was that the battery icon changed color.

No annoying blocking of my watch.

Thanks!

  • Hello,

The Forerunner 265 does not have that feature to change the low battery alerts. It depends on how fast the battery drains from usage is when it will alert you, it can be inconsistent because of that but I believe our algorithm for watches that don't have that feature is anything under 20% it will alert you.

  • Hi Hannah,

This feature was requested more than once in the past - the ability to configure the % in which a low battery alert will raise.

Please add it as in 20% it is usually annoying and not needed for most of us.

    Many thanks,

    Oren

  • Hi,

    that's a bummer.

If there is no way adjust that level (which would be great), is there a way to deactivate / disable this alert entierly?

    Thanks!

  • There is not on your watch specifically. We have this feature on our newer watches like the Forerunner 570 and 970 now. I do apologize for any inconvenience!
