Infinite notification alerts on Lyft ride android

During a Lyft ride my watch keep vibrating every 5 seconds and just shows the Lyft logo. That's super annoying so I had to just cancel all notifications from Lyft app to avoid it, but then I don't get the actually useful notifications like "your driver is here".

Any way to fix it?

I have the same problem. Ended up blocking notifications for this app on my watch, which is not ideal. I want notifications when something actually happens, not nonstop.

So just commenting to bump.

Same issue. Have had Lyft notifications turned on for my Garmin watch for five years and haven't had this issue until now. Anyone know whether the problem is on the Lyft side or the Garmin side?
