Forerunner 265 Always Detects Freestyle as Breaststroke

With my 965 once I concentrated on technique it got better...not perfect but better.  Esp backstroke I battled for a while then with a better technique it detected it better. Sometimes its a small change that makes the difference. Many comments on stroke recognition across the forums.

I also used this as a way of edit the data, if you wanted to do that afterwards.

I’ve already tried, and the result is the same as in the app.

I’ve also worn the watch on my right hand, but freestyle is still detected as breaststroke. Could it be because my arm movement is too slow?

Not sure what was meant here.

As regards the stroke speed , I suppose it would depend on the watch algorithm
