Boot loop when connecting with the smartphone

Hi, since this morning I have the problem that my Garmin FR 265 is caught in a boot loop as soon as I activate the Bluetooth connection with my smartphone. Without a connection, the watch works normally. Does anyone have similar problems or is it perhaps known?

  • Yesterday my watch started rebooting. Now I had restarted it 7 times. First time happened when I was waiting to get GPS signal to start a race, then while disabling airplane mode. Then after more resets I wanted to check if the watch was working and the rebooting started again after discarding an activity, then more rebooting while trying to connect to my phone. Now I decided to check what happens if I enable airplane mode and guess what? More rebooting while trying to disable airplane mode. The firmware version is 22.24

UPDATE 1: last night the watch started rebooting out of the blue. I had reset it like an hour before for the 10th time and forgot about it. At then I looked at it to see what time was it and noticed it was doing boot loops again. After that I decided to also purge the connect app along with resetting the watch one more time. Now seems okey (?) but since I don't know exactly what triggers the issue I can't really tell. I know enabling and disabling airplane mode did the trick twice, but I don't feel like resetting again.

UPDATE 2: I just found out about more people having the same issue. Looks like it might related to having live track enabled?
