Forerunner 265s High battery drainage on 22.18

Forerunner 265s High battery drainage on 22.18. Usually battery lasted for over a week, now its a day and a half at most. Just updated to 22.22 to see if it helps, but nothing I tried on 22.18 worked. Sent it for my country official Garmin support and after some back and forth they said something about corrupt memory and offered to repair the main board (for almost the same price of a new watch though, so no way).

Factory reseted many times, multiple methods (about screen, holding buttons, Garmin connect) Any clue what else I could try?

    This is highly irregular. The options are typically to replace the watch with a new or refurbished model. However, based on your country, you could be dealing with a 3rd-party distributor.

    As for your specific battery issue, seems you're not alone based on other threads on this forum.

  • The suport here in Brazil is a third party authorized by Garmin, I actually found them by searching the suport website. Although they may not be big Garmin, they are the only "authorized service" over here. The watch is out of warranty and they also offered a trade in, but again, almost full price so not an appealing deal.

    About the issue, I am aware many of us are facing it as well, but I suposse one more forum post is a good way to bring attention to it.
