I successfully got rid of the blue triangle of death on my 265

I felt somewhat better seeing that other people were having the same problem, that it wasn't just me and that there were fixes.  These were the instructions that worked for me. It took me a few tries of releasing the correct buttons at the right time, but I finally got it.  I had to re-enter information, but that is small compared to worrying your watch won't work again!

  • Did it fix the GPS issue also? Thanks

  • At least my FR265 got a GPS fix without crash. In the afternoon I had a second crash although the files from the folder were deleted. When I came back from a run with my trusty FR245 I restarted my FR265 (long press light button) and plugged it to my PC. Then I synced it via Garmin Express. After unplugging I went to the window and started a GPS activity for a new fix. No problems. I hope that it is solved now.

  • I haven't tried GPS yet.  On the positive side, when it went out it said my training status was overstressed, and now that it's reloaded that's gone :)
