Just have a really irritating question - I've just switched from an apple watch to the forerunner 265s. I am having some trouble with the sleep mode.
With the apple watch, I could set my sleep mode schedule on my phone/watch, and set an alarm as part of the sleep mode - and the sleep mode would obviously end after the alarm has gone off. It would basically turn on DND during this time, but wouldn't come on automatically so meant that I could just turn it on quickly before I went to bed, and still get notifications until this point (but the alarm would still go off even if I forgot to manually put the sleep mode on). Sleep would also be tracked regardless of the sleep mode.
On the new garmin, I put sleep mode on on my phone and just assumed it would transfer over (as the watch screen looked like it was in sleep mode, I realise now that the watch just had a default 22:30 bedtime..., this was also irritating as I missed important messages as it automatically turned on DND...).
My alarm went off with audio on my phone in the morning at 9am and not the watch at all, which was frustrating, and also as the watch had a default wake time of 8am (Even though it didnt wake me up) it still stopped tracking sleep at 7:59am?
Is there any way of linking the iphone sleep schedule/alarms to the garmin watch? / is there a way of turning on the sleep mode manually each night on the watch?
