My 2 months old FR265s started to stink at the oHR area. Something like unwashed feet and socks. Really disgusting. I wash the watch every few days with liquid soap or shower gel and also use a soft toothbrush. Then I dry it properly and leave it on the desk while I'm under the shower. After I started running again after my ankle injury I wash the watch after every run because it stinks under the watch, the strap area is still acceptable. I don't wear it too tight, I can move the watch a bit. One notch more and it slips and the HR lights are visible. After one or two days (wear the watch at night) without a run or another sweaty workout that bad smell is back and I have to wash the watch again. The area near the charging port is worse, the port itself is clean. I never had that problem with my other watches (FR35, 235, 735, 245). I took a magnifying glass and saw a small gap between the sensor glass and the watch housing, obviously a bit bigger near the charging port. It seems that the debris is trapped there and can't be removed properly although I use a soft toothbrush and sometimes leave the watch in a bowl with warm soap water. I shower every day and after every run and don't use any lotions etc. What else can I do?
Meanwhile I'm not sure anymore if it was really a new watch regarding the fine scratches on the Gorilla Glass I noticed after a few days with only a sleeve over it or the shiny part at the bezel at 6'o clock position. And some weard altimeter readings.
