Metronome tones stopped working

FR265: I haven't changed any settings recently, but the metronome tones are no longer sounding during activity. Only an issue the last two weeks or so and remember 2/3 software updates being pushed during that time (currently on 21.19). Doesn't work in the metronome preview either (vibration does). I think I've tried all conceivable configurations with alert/tone settings and such to no avail. Other tones/alerts do still make sound like the timer, alarm and find my device. Power off and restart also did not resolve. Thoughts?

  • Yes. I assume it was during a firmware update that a setting was unknowingly changed (or now operates differently) that affected my metronome tones. In the main watch settings, select System>Sound & Vibe>Alert Tones and toggle to either On or During Activity. That resolved the issue for me. I can't recall what it had been set to previously, but I probably hadn't dug down to that specific setting since I purchased the watch over a year ago. Metronome had been sounding fine all that time for me...
