Dumb question, Starting a run. When do I start running? After the GPS said ready and screen says run. or do i need to hit the start button again? When does the timer starts?

I tried 2 times 1) i push the start button again and ended up stop the activity. Another time i started running and saw the play triangle sign, so i hit the start button then it stop the activity. I had this watch for five days and getting frustrated.

What data screen is most helpful for running?

I've been running 5k 10k and half for about 1 year with no watch no phone and I run by feel. I only get results time and pace from after the race.

I learned my heart rate is mostly in 175 180. My vo2 is 44. My cadence is 185?

How do I set up voice prompt? For heart rate and pace? Do I need a headphones for that?

Thank you

  • I hit start,

    1. select the activity (middle left and bottom left buttons scroll through the list). Slect Run (or other), if the watch comes up with a suggested activity (like baseline for a run) and you want to ignore the suggestion just hit the back button (bottom right).

    2. The watch should give you the message "wait for GPS.

    3. When GPS status goes green, hit the start button (top right) again and that should start the activity.

If you've got something other than that going on then I would want to ask what software version are you using (maybe there's a bug).

       Hold the middle left button.

Should come up with a selection screen.

Use the lower left key to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the selections which should be "system:.

Use the upper right key to select system

Use the lower left key again to scroll all the way down to "about",

Select about with the upper right key and the result should tell you what software release the watch has
