Simple question, how do I turn off activity tracking? I don't need this information, and ostensibly it drains the battery.

Could you be more accurate concerning your use case ? why do you mean by "turn off activity tracking" ? Actually there is 2 way of tracking activity :
- by launching a specific activity on your watch (with the start button, so to stop you also use the start button)
- by using the moveIQ feature (you can disable it in option)
