GPS accuracy

Hi everyone,

Since 1 month, my gps accuracy has some "bug". In average once per run. (see picture)

Does anyone has experienced the same behavior?

What I've tried:

  • synchronize the watch just before the run
  • wait longer before press start to aquire more satelites
  • reset the watch

Is there a way to solve it? I mean for the price of the watch I would expect that it last for more than 1year and a half :(

  • To me (just my opinion) Do you have automatic software updates turned on? if no then maybe it's a watch problem, or maybe a (GPS) software update is needed. If automatic software updates are turned on then, what version of software are you running? Maybe it can be pinned down to a problem that happened after an update. If the software updates are turned on, then most likely (the software version will tell the story), the software has updated, in which case I'd try a shutdown reboot of the watch. A lot of funky post update problems have been reported getting pulled out of the ditch with a reboot. No harm in trying it.

    ----

    System Settings

    Data Recording

Sets how the watch records activity data. The Smart recording option (default) allows for longer activity recordings. The Every Second recording option provides more detailed activity recordings, but may not record entire activities that last for longer periods of time.

    Satellite Settings

    All + Multi-Band

Enables multiple satellite systems on multiple frequency bands. Multi-band systems use multiple frequency bands and allow for more consistent track logs, improved positioning, improved multi-path errors, and fewer atmospheric errors when using the watch in challenging environments.
