Garmin Forerunner 265 Music Storage

I just got my Garmin Forerunner 265 with said storage of 8GB, but realise youtube music can only play a playlist of 300 songs, which is sad.

Can I store around 1200+ songs into the watch using Garmin express app on the PC or the limit is only 500 songs?

Can I shuffle play the 1200+ songs using the default music player on the watch?

I drag and drop MP3s (320 quality) on my Forerunner 265. I have more than 300 songs and I play them on shuffle. I find the amount of songs allowed is determined by storage available.
