My interval run today counted my rest to the average pace/km. How fix?

I did a interval run today, but it counts my resting time (only on one of the rests) to my average pace. Is there somehow i can change the average pace during the rest to 0? It hasn't happend on any other workout.

So here you can spot the error, i have tried adjusting it to differnt types, like recovery, running, other.

  • Actually I think average pace (for the whole activity) is calculated as time / distance, not by taking the weighted averages of all the lap paces, so it doesn't matter whether your rest intervals show 0 or 43:23 for their pace.

Your total time is 54:41, your distance is 6.00, and your activity average pace is 9:07. Note that 54:41 / 6 = 9:07.

You can easily verify this in Excel or Google Sheets:

    - enter 0:54:41 in A1

    - enter =A1 / 6 in B1

If you're interested in seeing only the average pace for your run intervals, ofc you can use the interval type filter (i.e. click on Run).

  • I understand what you mean. But on another activity (also sprint) the rest time is not included, only the warmup and cooldown.
