Hello
My watch was exchanged for a recertified device after the whole battery fiasco. However, now my watch refuses to acquire satellites.
I've scoured the internet for possible fixes and have tried them all.
- Soft reset
- Hard reset
- GPS soak (20 minutes plus)
- Connecting to garmin express to update
- Syncing via wifi
- Syncing via bluetooth
- Selecting all + multiband
- Turning on every second data recording
- Disconnecting and reconnecting my watch from garmin connect
- GPS soak in a wide open field away from wifi
- Checking to make sure "always allow" is selected for location data between iPhone and connect
The closest I've got is the occasional green line to indicate GPS is found but this is short lived and seconds later it's back to finding GPS.
Maybe I've just been really unlucky and got another dud watch. I would be lying if I said I wasn't frustrated.
If anyone has further suggestions I can try until Monday when customer support is open I would be very grateful.
