Spotify not syncing entire playlist?

I have a Spotify playlist with 595 songs that I want to sync onto my Forerunner 265. When I sync the playlist it syncs 593 songs. Anyone know why it won't sync the entire playlist?

I checked Spotify and none of the 595 songs are greyed out, unavailable or local files so they should all upload onto my watch. I've tried removing/re-adding the playlist and uninstalling/re-installing Spotify but that did not work. Any ideas?

  • The first thing that springs to mind is if there is sufficient space available on your device, but I'm going to assume you've already thought of that!

However, I had this for a much smaller playlist (30-40 songs) and discovered that in Spotify I had one or two songs added twice (i.e. duplicated in the Spotify playlist). I guess when syncing, duplicated songs were only sent to the device once.

  • I've been having the same issue for the last couple of months. Tried everything, even resetting the watch and setting it up via Garmin express, but nothing. Garmin please work with Spotify and resolve the damn issue!

  • I have the same problem, spotify on phone and desktop show the same number of songs but when I sync the +-500 songs to my watch only +-490 songs on my garmin Fenix 7x, not a train smash, but cannot for the life of me figure out which songs are missing, just annoying. Checked for duplicates, same song name etc but still the same. Also tried the old reset, restart etc. Lets see maybe a tech wizz on here can solve the riddle.
