Startup animation 20.26

Hello,

The watch startup sequence has changed since the update to version 20.26. Before the update, the sequence was as follows: the Garmin triangle appeared first, followed by a runner animation and the word Forerunner 265. After the update, the Garmin triangle appears first, followed by GARMIN logo and text "Converting to GPX" and text "Loading FIT files", and then Watchface appears. The animation with the runner does not appear anymore. Is this normal watch behaviour? All other functions seem to be working properly, at least I haven't noticed anything wrong.

Hi,

I have updated my FR 265 to the same firmware version but don’t experience this issue. Re-run the firmware update.

1. Yes, the watch connects via Garmin Express and synchronizes and checks for updates.

2. Yes, the animation is completely gone. Every time I power on the watch, instead of the animation I see the GARMIN logo and the text "Converting to GPX" and the text "Loading FIT files".

Garmin-Sierra the App Weather is also broken, can you investigate too? With update to 20.XX the background animations gone and now only display a black background:

I have the same problem the runner animation has gone, what can I do to fix it?
