Earphones start cutting out after about ten minutes

Actually more like 12-13 minutes. I have tried 3 different makes of earphones, none of them bargain-basement, exactly the same thing. Re-pairing the earphones or factory resetting the watch did not help.

Today I got a replacement 265 and it has the same issue. I’ll have two more models of earbuds delivered tomorrow, and if the watch does not work with either of these then I guess I’ll be looking for a different watch.

The problem does not exist with my Sennheiser Momentum 4, but that does not help for running. Support do not help, they simply state that they cannot test their watches with all earphones. Anyone else had this issue? Anyone have a solution?

  • Same issue here. It started after the last 2 software updates came through. I tried multiple headphones and the same issue.

    Garmin isn't doing anything about it so it will be my first and last Garmin watch!
