Fitness age not updating?

I have a FR265 and normally I only use it for my workouts. However, from time to time I wear it for a full week to have all the health/fitness data updated, check my sleep, my HR and stress and so on. This time however, the fitness age hasn't updated for me. I've been wearing it for almost a week now, when you check the stats my resting HR is ~50bpm every day and yet it uses a number of 115bpm for its calculations (which it probably got from back when I was only wearing it for the workouts and taking off afterwards). How can I make it update its HR readings in this calculations?

  • What  is your fitness gave vs current age (i.e the difference)

  • It's not the result I have a problem with but the readings used to derive it. The app tells me that to lower my fitness age, my priority should be to lower my resting HR as it's 115bpm now, which is not true - it's around 50bpm resting every day for the past few days I've been wearing the watch. I also don't see 115 set as my resting HR manually anywhere within the profile/settings so I don't know why that figure is there.

  • Mine seems to pick it up from my 7 day Avg resting heart rate (looking at the figures).

What does it show on the Health Stats > Heart Rate > 7d Avg Resting? (looking in the app)

  • Yeah that's the thing, it's 65 7d avg resting and yet 115 for fitness age calculation
