Wi-fi networks are visible and connected but nothing syncs

I've connected my 265 to wi-fi networks on both home network and tethered to my iPhone.  Entered the passwords in each case and they are both listed in the My networks section of the watch. Yet any attempt to sync the watch over Wi-Fi fails as the phone can't see the wi-fi networks!!!

WTF is going on here?

The watch itself is extremely buggy and occasionally resets itself for no reason.  Also, I can't get the damn watch to play music anymore. The playlists were previously downloaded and played perfectly but now if you select a playlist with the start button it does not go into the tracks and nothing happens.

Help!

  • I'm sorry to hear about these issues. Please try the following:

    • Make sure the watch is connected to a secure Wi-Fi network.

    • Ensure that you are paired with the Garmin Connect app on your phone via Bluetooth® and remains connected throughout the sync.

    • Charge the watch battery to 100% before attempting to sync.

    • Keep the watch connected to a power source while syncing.

    • Keep the watch within close proximity to the Wi-Fi router when syncing.

    • Limit Wi-Fi usage with other devices on the network when syncing.

      • Activities like streaming videos and playing online games can limit the bandwidth available to the watch and cause the sync to fail.

    • Remove and re-add your Network

For all other issues, or if the above steps do not work- please contact Product Support directly. I recommend calling or 'chatting' with a live agent for the most detailed and efficient support.

    Thank you!
