265s "Always on display" option keeps turning on

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue with my Forerunner 265s. Despite turning off the Always On Display feature in the settings, it keeps turning back on by itself (sometimes after a few minutes, but it could also take days until the option turns on randomly). I’ve tried restarting the watch and double-checked the settings multiple times, but the problem persists.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a known fix or workaround? I’m concerned it’s draining my battery faster than necessary. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    That's very strange! When you select Settings > System > Display, do you have "Always On" disabled for "During Activity" AND "General Use"?

    If necessary, may I have permission to reach you via email to gather a few more details?

    Hi!

    Thank you for helping me! I have actually already contacted the swedish support regarding this, and it seems to be a bug with the always on display while editing an activity via the app, so I will continue in that thread. Slight smile
