Battery drain 18.27 [FR265]

Same issue in fr956 18.27

UPDATE: 100% > 65% after 17hrs. Battery use is 2.003%/hr and so far I've done 1200 steps today and I'm sitting at my desk. Half of those 17hrs were whilst I was asleep in bed.

What on earth is going on?!?!?

I updated it to the new version 18.27. I fully charged the battery last night and this morning it was at 58%. LMAO ;((

Oh man. Surely they can issue a software update to roll back to 18.26 or fix it and run a patch for 18.28.

I'm at 60% now now.. first to 0% wins

I'm wondering whether to download beta 19

From my experience, the battery only drains during sleep. When I wake up, I turn the watch on off and on and the battery does not discharge during the day (approximately between 3-5% without sports activities). The problem is during sleeping hours. 

Same issue on forerunner 965 fw 18.27 Battery life has halved at least. The drain is both during daytime and also in sleep mode. Haven't changed anything. Tried syncing with Garmin Express but no change.

I’m losing 15% overnight since the 18.27 update and about 50% in total per day with exact usage as I had before software update. FR955 but seems to be across different models. I’ve  tried a few things but nothing has made a difference.  I am stubbornly refusing to do a factory reset.  Instead I’m charging daily (used to be weekly) and holding out for next update. If that doesn’t solve the issue then I will do the factory reset.  

Yesterday I updated my fr265 to version 19.18. The battery problem continues. If you restart (turn the watch off and on) in the morning, the battery stops consuming like it does at night. It seems like a problem with the sleep measurements, but they don't solve it.

I just got the 19.18 upgrade so I’ll see how it behaves overnight.
