gps wait forever

Hello,

I bought a new watch - after the first activity I noticed that no GPS was recorded.

After taking a closer look, I discovered that GPS was not found at any time. Even several steps described on the Internet to solve the problem did not help (multiple resets, Connect with Garmin Express, updating the satellite files, Reconnect, etc.).

Unfortunately, I now have no more ideas. Of course, I put the device down for another 20 minutes without any sources of interference and gave it the opportunity to connect to GPS.

I have tried all possible GPS variants (multiband etc.). This is also active for the running profile, so that's not the problem.


I have no ideas anymore...

  • Can you see what the GPS version is in Settings> System>  About (On the 6th page I think it is), also what Firmware version?

  • It sounds like you've tried all of the appropriate troubleshooting steps. If you check your GPS version, I suspect it may show 0.00. 

    If you haven't already, please reach out to Garmin Product Support in your region. I recommend calling or 'chatting' with a live agent for the fastest and most officiant assistance.
