"Media Error Encountered"

Having the exact same issue. Tried all the fixes.

I am also having this problem since 2 days ago on a Forerunner 2.55 with the same software update. The following all work:
- Add playlist

- Remove playlist

- Update downloads

But adding a podcast always fails with "Media Error Encountered" after I select the name of the podcast and before the list of episodes is displayed.

I've tried removing and adding Spotify app on my watch and still have the same problem.

Am going to report this to Spotify as well via "Contact Developer" on the Connect IQ page for Spotify.

oh good, glad it's not just me.  I've just spent all morning re adding playlists after removing and re adding Spotify to try and fix the problem

I noticed the same error message on my FR 945 LTE.  My watch updated to software version 17.28 today.  Wondering if there's some commonality here.

Good to see many people on this thread encountering the same issue after the recent software update. Hopefully Garmin/Spotify will release a fix soon.

I think it'd probably help if several people report to Spotify if possible. They might be a company that gets a lot of emails from customers!
