Is there any way of adjusting suggested daily workouts to not cover the whole week?

Since I'm not a fan of reading too much about the training and would be totally fine with my Garmin doing the heavy lifting for me and just telling me what to do, it'd be great if I could just follow its directions regarding what to do. The problem with this approach is that I normally run 4 days a week with a long run exclusively on Sundays since that's the only way that fits my schedule and the suggested daily workout feature doesn't align with this at all since it just has some kind recommendation for every single day and doesn't update the next days when you don't do anything according to the suggestion on the previous days. Also, if I don't do the thing it recommends until the designated day, it's gone for that week (isn't pushed to the next days) which makes it even harder to use the feature.

This makes it rather unusable for my case. Any way of adjusting it to such needs or finding some kind of workaround solution? I just want to consistently get fitter, faster and not think too much about how to achieve while it fitting my schedule haha.

  • Don't worry about it. If you skip a day, do another workout or activity,  the recommendations will adapt to your training load, recovery, readiness and fitness metrics. Also, if you elect to do a workout planned for a future day, same thing, the program will adapt.
