Autopause is on despite settings saying "off"??

I tried cross country skiing with my Forerunner 265 today.
Every 5-10 seconds my watch kept auto pausing and unpausing despite auto pause being turned off in settings.
DAK how to solve this? This went on for the duration of my 45 min workout.

Watch running SW 18.15. No available updates that I can see.

I had exactly the same issue today. Forerunner 265, SW 18.20.

I have the exact same issue. Also happens under cross country skiing. Does not seem to be an issue when doing other activities. I have skied > 500km this winter and this is the first time I see this issue. Very frustrating! Help?!

After initial post I turned auto pause on and off. The next skiing workout the problem was solved.

Thank you. I will try that on/off solution. But I also have updated my Forerunner 265 to SW 18.22. I will update this chain here if the issue persists.

I experienced the same behaviour with my forerunner 255, SW 18.22, during my 2 hours skiing activity yesterday. The activity constantly switched between pause and aktive logging. Auto pause was set to Off. Was it caused by the last software update?
