How do I access the notification list during training?

How can I go to the notification list view when recording a workout? The lack of such an option is incomprehensible to me and prompts me to sell this watch.

You could set a hotkey to go back to watch face and then go to notification glance

THX! Thanks for your help :) I updated from 17.24 to the latest version. In 17.24 I'll cut my hand ;) that I didn't have watch face in the list.
