auto connect with Stryd

I have Stryd and use it with my Garmin 265. I have it auto connects when I select to run and my pace and distance come from Stryd. It has always worked well. I had foot surgery in mid September and could not run till yesterday. I charged the Stryd and went for a mile jog. When I got back I saw Stryd had not connected. I did see that I could connect Stryd manual before starting a run but do you have an idea why it is not auto connecting and point me towards a place to start troubleshooting?

I had the same issue. I also noted that the watch was telling me it connected with the foot pod while it was in fact connecting with HRM Pro (foot pod not present at all). I ended up removing the sensors and adding them back. That helped I believe. Not 100% sure because I did a full factory reset a few days later... Anyway, I don't see the issue any longer
