Very low recovery times

My wife and I both have 265s. Although the recovery time metric works well for me on mine for her it gives her very low recovery times (1-2 hours typically) despite hammering herself. This appears to happen for a range of workouts, including long/fast runs, strength sessions etc. It's really frustrating for her as it knocks her training readiness score off, which was half the reason she got the watch in the first place. Is there any way to reset this, or understand why it might be so off?

  • The usual suspect is a wrong HR Max value. If her HR Max is way higher than her true HR Max, the EPOC calculation will be completely off. Make sure she wears a chest strap, disables the HR Max auto detection and input her HR Max manually.

I am guessing the training effect evaluation is off as well? Meaning, even after a super hard run, the watch doesn't see much high aerobic effort?
