Always on Display mode not working on FR265

I have set the display mode to be "always on" in general use, but it does not work. After the 15 seconds it turns full black.

Any idea why or how to solve it?

Have you done a soft reset - Holding in top left button until the watch turns off completely. Then restart after 15s.

Sometimes this addresses some issues.

yes, did that several times and tried various settings. No lcuk.

It eventually turned out to be due to the watch face itself. A customized one will always switch off. One of the pre-loaded standard one will behave as supposed and stay always on, albeit very dim

There are a lot of custom watch faces that have AODs. It depends on the author if they included one.
