I recently switched from a Whoop 4.0 to the Garmin Forerunner 265s. I find that the Garmin is more accurate as far as heart rate during an activity. However, resting heart rate is too low. I've compared with the Whoop and an SPO2 device. My Forerunner generally puts my RHR from 52-55. It will also drop my HR to 55-57 when doing things like typing and driving. Whoop - 57-60 RHR, 65-70 driving/typing/low activity. The Whoop is consistently identical to the SPO2 reader. There is no way my RHR drops to 52-55 every night. Is there a way to recalibrate the Heart Rate sensor on the Forerunner? Other than that and the super low training suggestions (11:40 minute miles every time?), I'm loving the watch.
